Set of 4 Rare Excelsior Pattern Flint Glass EAPG Egg Cups 1860
For sale are four Excelsior pattern egg cups. The egg cups are are 3 1/8 to 4 inches tall. These are clear late flint glasses, from before the Civil War. The smallest cup is the odd man out, with a rim that was never fire polished. This might be an open salt rather than an egg cup. This pattern is usually associated with McKee Brothers of Pittsburgh, but was also made by other glass companies. The set weighs 1 lbs 6 oz (shipping weight 3 lbs)
Condition: The egg cups are in very good condition. No damage. Some age appropriate base wear.
