Scarce Antique Bellflower Creamware 13 Inch Meat Platter Drainer circa 1820

This is a fine creamware drainer for a meat platter, a scarce shape to find these days. The oval drainer is 13 1/8 inches long by 9 1/8 inches wide by 3/4 inches tall. It dates to circa 1820. Hand painted brown bellflower trim, no maker's mark, but there is an impressed number 16 and a brown painter's number 2.

 The heavy creamware drainer weighs 1 lb 12 oz (shipping weight 4 lbs).
