Pair of Masons Japan Fence Imari Stoneware Soup Plates circa 1835

Pair of 10 1/4 inch deep soup bowls/ plates in the Japan-inspired pattern known as "Japan Fence". The body of the plate is cream colored, with Imari palette enameling and gilding. Bears printed crown marks "Real Stone China" which I believe are Mason's mark from circa 1835. The plates weigh 3 lb 8 oz (shipping weight 5 lbs).

Condition: one bowl has a tight rim hairline, as shown, the other good. Some light staining as shown.
