Large Vintage Murano Glass Opalescent White and Green Compote

Fine free blown and joined large compote in opalescent white glass over a transparent green stem and foot. The white glass is particularly nice, as it has a hammered texture on the underside of the bowl that gives it a very interesting appearance. Mid 20th century. Marked with a Murano foil sticker.

The compote is 11 5/8 inches wide by 4 7/8 inches tall. It weighs 2 lb 4 oz (shipping weight 3 lbs)
