Large Boston & Sandwich Fiery Opalescent Drawer Knob 1850

Fine fiery opalescent flint glass Rosette drawer knob, from Boston and Sandwich. The color is translucent white with strong fiery opalescence, which shows as a peach or orange colored tint in some of the photos. This pattern is documented in Barlow and Kaiser, A Guide to Sandwich Glass in plate 5133. Circa 1850.

The knob (not counting the metal rod) is 2 1/2 inches wide by 1 3/4 inches tall. It weighs 8 oz (shipping weight 1 lbs).
