Pair of Antique French Faience Fine Plates Legros d'Ainsy 1820
Exquisite pair of finely printed antique French faience fine earthenware plates, printed with views of Tuilleries and Bourbon palaces. The plates are marked with the stamp of Legros and d'Ainsy, Rue du Cadran No. 9, Paris. Legros and d'Ainsy were very fine decorators of porcelain and pottery. These fine plates were probably manufactured by Creil.
The octagonal plates are 8 1/2 inches wide (point to point). The pair weighs 1 lb 2 oz (shipping weight 2 lbs)
