For sale is this fine blue Staffordshire cup and saucer in the "Bird Cartouches" pattern with a "Sweet William" border. The saucer measures 5 1/2 inches wide and the cup weighs 3 3/8 inches wide. The set weighs 7 oz. Date circa 1810. Medium blue pearlware with no maker's mark.The maker for this pattern has not been identified.

Condition: Saucer very good, cup with one fine hairline, as shown. Cup with rim wear and chips to the foot rim. Fine clear crazing to both pieces.
