Here is a whimsical peacock-like hand blown Murano glass bird, blown of clear, black and gold aventurine glass. The bird has a a stable gather foot and a body hollowed out to serve as a business holder, or you could use it for chocolates. It dates to the mid 20th century. It comes from the island of Murano in Venice.

The bird stands 13 inches tall by 6 1/2 inches long by 5 1/2 inches wide. It weighs 2 lbs 8 oz (shipping weight 4 lbs).
