Large Antique Redware Swirl Pudding Food Mold Flint Glaze 19th Century

Offered for sale is this antique redware round pudding mold. No maker's marks, it dates to the early 19th century. It can be dated from its material, since after 1840 molds like this were made of ironstone, not redware or pearlware. Mottled red and black inside, with flint green glaze outside.

The large mold is 9 3/4 inches wide by 3 3/4 inches tall. It weighs 2 lb 4 oz (shipping weight 5 lbs).

Condition: Very good. No chips, but some rim chips, as shown. The glaze (or soot?) on the base is flaking. Please see the detail photos.
