Fine antique purple Staffordshire transferware plate 10 1/8 inches wide by John and Job Jackson (1831 - 1835)  is part of a series of 32 views, by Job and John Jackson, called "American Scenery." This pattern is called "Hartford Connecticut". Marked with the pattern and "Jacksons Warranted" on the reverse.
