Large Antique Artist Signed French 15" Handpainted Dog Porcelain Charger

Finely painted antique porcelain charger, painted with a cottage scene of two dogs at a rustic hearth, clearly eager for dinner. It is entirely hand painted and signed by the artist "E. le Vilminot." The paint is not under glaze; it looks like the charger was painted in enamels which were set with a low-heat firing. There are no maker's marks on the charger. Late 19th or Early 20th century.

The charger is 14 3/4 inches wide. It weighs 2 lbs 13 oz (shipping weight 5 lbs)

Condition: Very good overall. Minor wear on the enamels, as shown in detail.
