Bristol Blue Holland Blown Flint Glass Decanter Early 19th Century

For sale is a taper form decanter from circa 1820. Free blown of flint glass in Bristol Blue with a gold "Holland" (= gin) bottle tag painted on the decanter. The quart decanter is 8 1/8 inches tall by 4 inches wide. No stopper. Polished pontil mark.  The decanter weighs 12 oz (shipping weight 2 lbs).

Condition: very good condition, no chips or cracks. Some wear on the gold. The usual bubbles and swirls of early glass production. Some age appropriate base wear.
