Ridgway Hawthornden Blue Transfer Staffordshire Plate 1880

For sale is this fine blue Staffordshire plate in the "Hawthornden" pattern by Ridgway, Staffordshire. The plate has an attractive Aesthetic Era sheet pattern. The plate measures 10 3/8 inches wide and weighs 1 lb 4 oz. The plate has a bow and arrow Ridgway mark and a British Registration mark which dates the pattern to 1880.

Condition: Very good, no chips or cracks but fine crazing of the glaze, as shown. Light stain on the reverse.
