Pair of Hand Painted Italian Faience Harvest Large Spaghetti Bowls Pippo Cetona
Finely hand thrown and painted pair of faience studio pottery large spaghetti bowls painted with wheat and flower designs. The pitchers are marked "Pippo Cetona". Pippo is the name of the potter, Pippo Cicerchia of Laboratoria Ceramiche Pippo (his son Franco now runs the business). Cetona is the name of a town south of Siena.
The smaller bowl measures 13 1/4" wide by 3" high and weighs 3 lbs.
The larger bowl measures 15 1/2" wide by 3 1/2" high and weighs 4 lbs 7 oz.
