Antique Alcock Flow Blue Touraine 17 Inch Oval Platter 1890s

Offered for sale is this oval flow blue platter trimmed with gold. It is in the desirable "Touraine" pattern. This pattern was manufactured by Henry Alcock & Co in the 1890s and early 1900s, then by Stanley Pottery in the 1920s and 1930s. This platter is marked "Touraine Henry Alcock & Co England" and has a British registration number of 329815, which indicates that the pattern was introduced in 1898. It dates to circa 1900.

The platter is 16 5/8 inches long by 11 5/8 inches wide. It weighs 3 lbs 12 oz  (shipping weight 6 lbs).

Condition: Excellent condition, no visible wear. No chips, cracks or repairs, no noticeable wear on the gold trim.
