Antique Marigold Imperial Carnival Glass "Octagon" Wine Decanter circa 1909

Offered for sale is this molded orange marigold carnival glass wine decanter with original stopper in the "Octagon" geometric pattern. Lovely deep "pumpkin" marigold coloring. It dates to circa 1909. The stopper has a snapped pontil mark, a sign of early manufacture (several stoppers were molded at once, then snapped off a central rod). No maker's mark, which is to be expected in this period.

Condition: Very good. No chips, cracks or noticeable wear. The usual minor bubbles, straw marks and imperfections of early carnival glass.
