Set of 5 Seneca Wheel Cut Champagne Flute Glasses Mint Condition circa 1930

  • $50.00

Set of five vintage intaglio wheel cut glass champagne flutes. These glasses are all wheel cut with a fine scroll, both polished and unpolished, on both the bowl and on the foot. The foot is monogrammed with the initials "DWC." High quality cutting on fine clear glass. Each glass holds 5 fluid ounces when filled to the brim. The wine glasses date to circa 1930. I attribute these glasses to Seneca Glass Company of Morgantown West Virginia based on style, manufacturing technique and the fact that Seneca was one of the largest makers of luxury wine glasses in the USA in the 1930s.

The flutes are 8 inches tall by 2 1/2 inches wide at the rim. The set of five weighs 1 lb 8 oz (shipping weight 3 lbs).

Condition: Mint condition. No damage or wear. Please see the detail photos. The photos with a dark background show the same pattern of cutting on a red wine glass, which is not part of this listing.
