Large Modern Studio Porcelain Bisque Japanese Grapevine Studio Vase
Offered for sale is a fine studio porcelain vase, hand-painted with grapevines in cobalt blue on a bisque ground; the shoulder and collar foot have brown glaze over cobalt decoration. The only mark is a tiny cobalt mark that looks like a small cross attached to a horseshoe. I don't recognize this mark, but I believe it is Japanese.
The large vase stands 12 3/4 inches tall by 7 inches wide at the shoulder.
Condition: Excellent near-mint condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. There is one small area low on the body, where the cobalt decoration is fainter, as shown. Please view the detail photos.
