Antique Japanese Meiji Imari Hand Painted Porcelain Covered Serving Rice Bowl
Finely painted antique Japanese porcelain covered serving bowl, painted with landscapes and flowers in reserves. Note the soft glazes, ash spots in the glaze, and sparse use of gold, a sign of age. Late 19th to early 20th century, Meiji period.
The serving bowl is 10 1/4 inches wide by 6 1/2 inches tall.
Condition: Excellent with no chips or cracks or repairs. It does have glaze imperfections such as ash spots normal for antique Imari. Please view the detail photos.
