Fine set of 8 antique Royal Chelsea white and gold plates with pink roses. Maker's marks for Royal Chelsea and retailer's marks for Ovington Brothers of New York, a top-flight retailer of fine china in the late 19th and early 20th century. Circa 1900.

The set consists of 8 dinner plates. Each plate is 9 7/8 inches wide. The set weighs 10 lbs 8 oz (shipping weight 15 lbs).

Condition: Very good to excellent; minimal wear. Two out of the eight plates have fine clear crazing; these plates are shown in the last photos. No chips or cracks.
